ROBERT M.
CAVALIER is the Managing Partner of LUCAS
AND CAVALIER, LLC.
Mr. Cavalier has extensive litigation experience in
product liability, maritime, professional negligence,
insurance defense/coverage, municipal, defamation, media and
commercial matters.
He has successfully defended numerous companies in
these substantive areas of litigation.
His product liability experience has involved
compliance issues with the Consumer Product Safety
Commission, Underwriters Laboratory, Flammable Fabrics Act,
CSA, heavy equipment, as well as petroleum and chemical
product toxic tort exposures.
Additional areas of specialization include copyright
infringement, premises liability, vertical lift
transportation, automobile, Traumatic Brain Injury, Reflex
Sympathetic Dystrophy/Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and
future medical expenses.
He has been counsel in declaratory judgment actions
involving insurance coverage disputes concerning an array of
issues and policies.
He
received his Juris Doctorate degree from Rutgers University
Law School - New Jersey in 1992.
He is a graduate of Trenton State College (College of
New Jersey) - receiving a Bachelor’s of Science degree in
Business Administration in 1989.
He is admitted to practice in the state and federal
courts throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as
the United States Supreme Court.
